Job

As some of you may know, I was laid off at my job at the Engineering company last month. Damn economy forced budget cuts. I have been searching for a job since and have had no luck.

Unfortunately the economy is so bad, that my job/company wasn't the only one effected and so therefore other companies are not hiring right now. It's sucks because I am not getting unemployment and we have bills to pay. It's hard on both of us, especially Josh, who now has to support the both of us... again.

So please, keep us in your prayers as we struggle through the mess that our economy has left us in.

Sick!

So I have been itching a lot lately and I couldn't find out what it was. I decided to go to WebMD and search my symptoms. I have Shingles!!! Ewwww! It's a form of Chicken Pox that is triggered by stress or sickness, in my case both. So I went to the hospital after finding out that it could shut down my nervous system if I don't get it taken care of. I found out that since I am young and have a mild case, I should be ok. I am past the 48 hour period so I couldn't get a shot so all we can do is treat the symptoms. So he gave me 4 medications and sent me on my way. It should take a couple of weeks until I a start to get better. Until then, Josh has to sleep in the guest room and I can't touch anyone. It's like I have cooties!!

Oregon Coast Vacation

Our trip to the Oregon Coast was amazing. We had so much fun at the ocean. It was beautiful!!

It's always good when you can hang out with your girlfriends and be goofy and have fun, WITHOUT boys!

I got a job!!

After looking for a job for just over a month now, I got another interview today and it went really well. I didn't even walk in the door at home afterwards when they called me offering me the position! Yay! Things are finally looking up again.

I start tomorrow. I will be an Administrative Assistant for Mid-Columbia Engineering Inc. And the girls that I will be working with seem REALLY nice.

Vacation

After graduating college and my recent unemployment, I recently needed a vacation. My little sister's mom (who is like a second mom to me) bought me and Cassie a plane ticket to see them in San Diego, so of course we went. I loved it!!! I miss them so much already.
